My Ayah bought for me...

LittleTouch LeapPad Learning System! Mine is Pink in Color! Ayah actually wanted to get Hooked on Phonics. Ayah also bought for me 5 LittleTouch LeapPad titles. I even got a LittleTouch LeadPad Take-Along Tote. Now that's a mouth full. So far, I have only played on it twice!

Growth Milestone: 2 months

Mastered Skills (most kids can do)

• Vocalizes: gurgles and coos
• Follows objects across field of vision
• Notices his hands
• Holds head up for short periods

Emerging Skills (half of kids can do)

• Smiles, laughs
• Holds head at 45-degree angle
• Makes smoother movements

Advanced Skills (a few kids can do)

• Holds head steady
• Can bear weight on legs
• Lifts head and shoulders when lying on tummy (mini-push ups)

I just turned 3 months old on Thursday, 10 January. I had my injection in the morning when Ibu brought me to the clinic. I was awake when Dr saw me and then there was painful poke in my thigh. Ibu swaddled me to console me but I started crying again when Ibu brought me out of the Dr's room. Back at home, Ibu gave me pink strawberry flavoured liquid from a syringe. Ibu then sent me to Moyang's place before rushing off to work!

When I was 2 month old, I had most of the skills in the growth milestone for 2 month. I even can do things a few kids can do. Most of it are easy peay for me while I was still 2 months old. Saw my photo doing the acrobatic standing trick? It was not a trick actually. I was really standing .... momentarily.

Now, the growth milestone for 3 months looks easy peay too! I was able to do the mastered skills and emerging skills before turning 3 months. I'm working on my advanced skills right now. I have been kicking alot and lifting my hips off the mattress and off my car seat. If I'm on my changing mat and kicking, I would end up moving up and up hitting pillows with my head.

All that practice would help me roll over. I would most probably roll over from my back to my tummy first instead of the other way round as I am on my back most of the time. I'm always distracted by loud noise! Its scary! As always, I get distracted by anyone calling my name while I am drinking my milk. I would turn over to look and Ibu will always say "Don't disturb!"

I have been puting my hands together and playing with my hands. But I don't bat at toys yet. Ayah let me play with Mr. Rabbit, so I would grab him and play with him if he is within my reach.

Hopefully, I would master the advanced skills before my visit to the Dr for my 4th month visit.

• Squeals, gurgles, coos
• Blows bubbles

• Does mini-pushups

• Turns toward load sounds
• Can bring hands together, bats at toys.

Early Bird Catches the Worm!

For the past 2 weeks, me, Ibu and Ayah has been waking up early most of the days. Around 5am in the morning I woke up for milk and also to see Ayah go off for his army camp. A few times, me and Ibu said bye bye to Ayah then gone back to sleep again. Most times, I wake up at 7am after that and Ibu can't sleep anymore even though she was working in the afternoon.

One morning, I woke up feeling cranky and sticky. I kept on making noises and kicking and scratching my neck. Ibu and Ayah finally woke up and laughed at me!... They switched on the lights and tell me I'm stuck! Ibu keep on laughing at me and took this photo. I think the same thing happened a few days later.




Ayah has been letting me play with my mittens off. But I know he does not like me to suck on my fingers. I've been playing with Mr. Rabbit and only recently on my Play Gym after not being on it for about more than a week.

Fun Time!

A Play Gym for me! I laughed in my sleep while Ibu was showing excitedly to Nenek the Play Gym. I feel asleep after my first time on it coz Ibu was too lazy to put me to sleep for my after bath nap.
Ayah even joined in and showed me my flashcards.

Ayah took photos on me on the sofa and decided to make me stand!!!! Look! And look at my hair! ehehehehhhe
