Big Girl Ayuni

Ibu likes to say that I am a big girl already!... I have learnt to walk steadily now after cruising for about 6 months. I have climbed the stairs up all the way to Moyang's home in big steps with Ayah. I love to walk in my sandals that make Pat-Pot sounds like what ibu says.

Ibu also likes to say that I am a clever girl. She asked me a few times if I wanted to go to school. I have learnt to like reading and flipping my books. I like Dr Suess's Mr Brown Can Moo because of the sounds that Mr Brown makes. I also like my Sesame Street book which comes with a handy handle. I like to carry it my the handle but it is very heavy. It comes in tabs so its easy to flip too. Another one is my Dora the Explorer book where she learns how to dress up. I love the big button especially. I have more books than toys. Ibu always buys me books especially bargain books from Borders. Most of my toys are at my Pink room in our new house, but the toys rarely hold my attention for long. I love to sit in my mushroom pool filled with balls. I had more fun when Leanna was come.

I love to lift up Ibu's top to see her tummy and bellybutton sometimes. I even will crawl and roll over to go to the other side if Ibu is lying down. Ibu and Ayah says I am going to be a Kakak soon. Ayah once asked me if I am going to bully Adik and I say Tak!

Nenek had cut my fringe recently and cut it again today. It is now shorter and uneven!

My First Birthday Party!

I will be having my first birthday party on 12 October 2008 (Sunday) at my home in Bedok. Its gonna be Strawberry Shortcake-themed. Ibu has given out Strawberry Shortcake invites to our relatives. It is going to be so exciting with all the Strawberry Shortcake balloons and birthday cake! Hope to see you there!

Crawling and Teething comes together!

As your baby's muscles are becoming stronger, she's apt to lunge forward onto all fours from a sitting position. She may go into a "precrawl" exercise, rocking back and forth on hands and knees with her trunk parallel to the floor. Most babies begin to crawl between 7 and 10 months.

That's exactly what I've been practicing whenever someone place me in siting position. I've also been feeling my teeth using my tongue and mouth. So my mouth would be closed but moving. Ibu say I look like an old person moving the mouth! My two front lower teeth are coming out together nicely. Ibu likes to try to see my teeth and will giggle when she sees or touch them. Ibu say also see the teeth that are still in my gums waiting to come out!
